We have established this club to serve as a central information source for the breed in the United States.

Slovac Cuvac were almost lost as a result of World War II. Since these dogs are natural protectors of their family they were eliminated by invading armies. Thanks to the efforts of Dr. Antonin Hruza and the School of Veternary Medicine at Brno, Chech Republic a recovery plan was implemented to save these beautiful dogs.
